from east la to venice, the foothills to the ports, we own the roads on sunday usually ending in little tokyo for yogurt. we won't be happy until scooters and the like outnumber cars in la. reasons to ride a scooter: scooters get about 75-115 mi/gal ~ no sitting in traffic ~ park anywhere ~ a new scooter costs about $1899-$6000 ~ no motorcycle license required (49cc & under) ~ cheap insurance ~ fun friendly weather, dynamic boulevards, tired-ass car culture...la is scooter city!
